36 Verses to Healing #9: Matthew 7:7, 11 

7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.    11 If you then,  being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 

These two verses reinforce the idea that you have to play a role and interact with God in order to receive what you want.  Our goal is healing, we can't sit back and just watch things unfold and expect that we will receive it, we must have a dialog with Him and actively pursue what we want!  

When I went to the healer, I always had homework to do, I just couldn't receive the hands on healing, walk away, and do absolutely nothing until I returned for the next session.  My role in the healing process was to pray, meditate and focus on my ovaries on a given night and a specified time (I obviously did this more often on my own as well).  We were creating an open channel for the long distance transfer of healing energies through intention. Sound like a fantasy or too ridiculous to be true?  I assure you that it not only works but that I have used this type of healing to help others and continue to do so as I am called.   It has been used since before the time of Shamans, they referred to it as "journeying to the spirit world" but today most call it "remote healing" through intention.  I share this to make a point about having to actively seek Him and doing all you can to allow the energy transfer of His amazing miraculous hands of healing to penetrate the very body He created and knows so well.  With your open willingness to ask and receive the spiritual energies and healing available to you, you can feel them merge with your energy and soul to provide you with a renewed feeling of peace, relaxation, warmth (especially in the areas you focus on) and love! I am by no means stating or insinuating that the healer or I have the ability to heal, what I am saying is that by opening yourself up to receive that you or the healer can be used as a vessel through which the Lord provides the ability to transfer healing energy.  As I stated above, I have experienced this on many occasions, it never gets old, I never know what will happen or result from it, and it is by far the most amazing spiritual connectiveness I think one can have! So, do you now understand how powerful YOU are to Him as He is to you? This verse says clearly that even with our faults, sins and humanness to be 'evil' (I think this word is harsh and personally try never to use it) we can provide for our own children with good gifts, when we know of their needs; so just imagine the immense possibilities of what our Father in heaven can provide to us if we just ask Him! He is all powerful, a King of all kings, the Creator of all things and yet we doubt, and forget where to turn when we can't see our way, He is the Light in all darkness if we seek Him, He is our Father and wants for us all the things we want for our children, so place your trust in the highest return value!!! If I was a gambler I would most definitely bet on Him to come through for me but keep in mind that we must always remember it is in His time and His will that prayers will be answered. We have to remain open to hear, see and experience the signs and gifts He provides us each day, answers may not come in the form expected but He does hear us and know our needs! Ask and you will receive!! Focus with all you have within on prayer and meditation of His words and He promises to provide us with all we ask, not difficult at all so choose to do it and choose Him to give it!
